since 2023

Girls’ football

I joined the AC Sparta Praha girls’ academy in August 2023 to coach the youngest girls. A year later I took over the whole FUN phase, the academy’s youngest age groups.

2025/26

I identified areas for new training centres and arranged the partnerships that have made training there possible since September 2026. Together with the coaches we ran many taster sessions and girls’ football tournaments that got hundreds of children playing sport with us.

2024/25

The youngest age group grew from 17 to 30 players, a new age group was created and the oldest got a third weekly session, dedicated solely to developing movement skills. For the first time we held a girls-only camp and a tournament for girls in their first and second years of primary school.

2023/24

I coached the youngest girls and, for one more year, also taught at a primary school.

2022 – 2024

PE teacher · project manager

I taught PE from first to ninth grade. As project manager I was responsible for grant programmes and prepared and organised courses and outdoor school trips.

2018 – 2021

Youth academy, FC Slovan Liberec

Youth academy secretary · interim head of the academy

As academy secretary I was responsible for its day-to-day running: logistics, transfers and communication with clubs and parents. I created the club’s planning system and a system for kitting out the players, and organised training camps and placements abroad for coaches.

After the director left, I was interim head of the academy – 350 members and 55 coaches and staff – including responsibility for its budget.

until 2016

Studies and early years

I studied sports and conditioning at VŠTVS PALESTRA and started coaching while still a student. My bachelor’s thesis looked at how quickly eight-year-old footballers learn new skills.

I started playing at the age of five for Jiskra Struhařov, then for Junior Praha, and as a player I went through every level of the game. Nothing came easily; I had to work hard for everything.

While at university, I made the rational choice and stepped back from the idea of playing professionally. I went to gain experience with teams in Austria, where I played at a largely semi-professional level and could focus on my studies, while gradually developing my coaching skills at ABC Braník.
