When you write to me through the form on this website, you trust me with your details. Here is what I do with them.

Who is responsible for your data

The controller is Martin Hejno, who runs martinhejno.com. If you have questions about your data, write to me using the contact form on this website.

What data and why

When you write to me through the form, I process your name, email address, your club or organisation if you give it, and your message. I need them only to reply to you and, where relevant, to arrange working together.

Legal basis

My legitimate interest in replying to a message you chose to send me (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). If we are discussing working together, also taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

How long

I keep your message in my email inbox while we are in touch and for no longer than 2 years after the last message. Then I delete it. Messages are not stored on the website.

Who has access

I don’t pass your data on or sell it. On the technical side, it is processed by the service providers I use: Cloudflare (running the website and delivering the message) and Google (Gmail inbox). Both may also process data in the USA under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing, to data portability and to object. You can lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz).

Cookies

This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies and does not measure traffic.
